**Position may be based out of Springfield, Oregon or Johns Creek, GA**

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategic development of annual marketing strategy for industrial products
    • Creation and execution of annual marketing plans for industrial products groups (aligned with company objectives)
  • New product development process ownership, including product launch strategies and procedures
  • Content ownership (and brand design management) for industrial products marketing collateral
    • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and availability of content (printed and digital) for industrial products with regard to webpages, literature, samples, ads, trade shows, social media
    • Timely execution of updates to printed and digital materials as necessary
  • Vendor outsourcing and association management
    • Manage projects specific to industrial products that are referred to third party vendors, approving scope of work, budgets and invoice approvals
    • Work with business managers to identify association involvement for maximum sales/customer service benefit. Manage administrative needs for membership.
  • National accounts support/strategy creation
    • Create and implement national accounts strategy with regard to Roseburg's presence and product representation of industrial products on big box websites
      • Manage vendor work as necessary
      • Work with digital content manager as necessary to implement strategies
  • Tactical marketing management
    • Maintain a cohesive corporate message across forms for diverse stakeholders and end-users
    • Facilitate or perform market research and other ad hoc projects as necessary
    • Trade show liaison
      • Work with Events Coordinator and business managers to ensure representation at appropriate shows/events for promoting industrial products business.
      • Manage key messaging, graphic design and display changes, sales organization and training
      • Evaluate trade show effectiveness and determine the trade show participation for industrial products with feedback from sales
    • Company store coordination for Industrial Products
      • Work with Events Coordinator and business managers to ensure budget reflected supports industrial products business goals for the year and all personnel on sales teams understand how to use the tools to order branded gear for clients.
    • Sample and literature management
      • Maintain industrial products samples and literature in accordance with company standards for compliance, style, overall cohesiveness
    • Ad facilitation
      • Advise on annual ad design
      • Approve annual ad plan for industrial products and approve ads prior to submission, ensure alignment with sales goals and activities
    • Sponsorship management
      • Coordinate sponsorship events with appropriate Roseburg personnel, select promotional items, facilitate material procurement, and provide artwork, graphics, images, copy as necessary
      • Work with business units to understand sponsorship needs
      • Work with fulfillment coordinator as necessary
  • Budget management
    • Adhere to set budget across all marketing activities for industrial products marketing
    • Track costs of activities throughout year
    • Draft budget for industrial products and make recommendations during planning cycle
  • Customer communications
    • Aid in the drafting of email blasts, product press releases, segment messages, product literature, website, ads, training materials, etc.
    • Work with vendors to edit and design new collateral in accordance with company standards
    • Manage annual marketing communications calendar
  • Work as a team member on the following industrial product teams:
    • Architectural Specification Team
    • Duramine Team
    • PanelArtz Team
    • Pembroke Team
    • Medford Team
    • TSM weekly calls as needed
    • OEM meetings as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree in business management, marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with marketing initiatives in an organization
  • Experience in business with a manufacturing component
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions
  • Positive demeanor and the ability to function within a team and work well with others at all levels of the organization and with vendors
  • Ability to review and interpret data to form reports
  • Understanding or ability to learn Roseburg internal invoice and PO systems
  • Ability to think critically and apply knowledge to the task at hand
  • Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills written, verbal, listening; position requires thoughtful and timely responses to emails and phone calls
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Ability to adhere to a set budget and manage work and vendors accordingly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Roseburg's product offering
  • Marketing experience in industrial products or related business
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM)
