Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive requests for quotes and purchase orders from customers and/or TSM's, prepare and acknowledge promptly to requesting customers and/or TSM's and negotiate the sale as appropriate
  • Establish selling programs to new accounts in a coordinated effort with the TSM's
  • Orchestrate the company response on complaints and claims, ensuring the appropriate sense of urgency while proactively communicating status within and outside the company
  • Handle and resolve questions, communications, and/or situations from customers, transportation, shipping, and the region managers
  • Maintain pricing documents and perform order/data entry and analysis as appropriate
  • Embrace ownership of the cycle of order fulfillment from order receipt, through manufacturing, logistics, and A/R processes
  • Communicate the needs of the customer to all internal RFP stakeholders by analyzing, organizing, and presenting data, facts and logic
  • Coordinate inside & outside sales efforts within all territories; share responsibility for reaching or exceeding target volume, return and sales levels
  • Create a positive working relationship with key manufacturing personnel
  • Produce and manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Participate in sales plan forecasting
  • Manage sales, inventory, and invoicing for reload/VMI/CMI accounts
  • Create and manage weekly on ground stock reports for customer distribution
  • Track, manage, and process rebates and Marketing Development Funds

Required Qualifications:

  • Four year' college degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in various computer platforms (Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel), Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Reliability
  • Outstanding verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative, experience, and judgment in performing daily tasks
  • Positive demeanor and the ability to function within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous industry-related experience
