  • The Chief Pilot is proficient in and responsible for all aspects of mission safety, mission planning, mission management, and crew management
  • Responsible for all FAA directives and regulations regarding Company Letters of Operation i.e. Responsible person for RVSM, MMEL, etc., US and foreign customs filings, aircraft documentation, and the Safety Management System
  • Ensures compliance with local airport policies
  • Ensures compliance with company policies
  • Regularly updates trend monitoring and CAMPS reports
  • Ensures all supplies are sufficient and available to include fuel, oil and commissary items
  • Ensures all ground support vehicles are functional and available (tug, lav cart, EPU)
  • Provides excellent customer service to passengers
  • Reports to the SVP Finance/CFO
  • Provides supervision, leadership, and mentoring to company pilots
  • Coordinates closely with the Aviation Manager and Aviation Scheduler for both operations and maintenance scheduling


  • High School graduate, college graduate preferred
  • Holds a Second-Class Medical Certificate
  • Possess a current passport
  • Holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • RVSM qualified
  • Hours Requirements
    • 3,000 hours total
    • 1,000 hours PIC in a multi-engined or military aircraft
    • 750 hours turboprop/turbojet
    • 100 hours in Cessna 560 XL, XLS, XLS+ desired
    • Pro-Line 21 experience desired
