Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and participate in hiring process to meet facility staffing needs
  • Key contributor in developing the facility culture
  • Facilitate management team development utilizing company and plant programs
  • Assist managers with identifying and implementing training opportunities
  • Active role in leading the development of hiring process, knowledge assessments (technical and soft skills) and training programs
  • Develops, directs and reviews the on-boarding process
  • Implements company and plant related policies
  • Coordinates human resource related training
  • Supports efforts to achieve facility's performance KPI's
  • Lead all HR initiatives and goals
  • Responsible for implementation and execution of company HR initiatives
  • Key communications role with all plant personnel
  • Perform the role of employee advocate and create culture of positive employee relations
  • Interpretation, education and enforcement of appropriate policy and work rules consistent with Roseburg practice, process and core values
  • Coach and mentor management members on employee issues
  • Participates in and resolves internal investigations
  • Assist in the development and administration of the attendance/leave process
  • Administers drug testing policy and procedures
  • Responsible for plant job selection and promotion process
  • Collaborate with corporate office and other facilities as required
  • Serves as liaison between Roseburg and Chester County
  • Champion of company core values
  • May supervise staff as designated by plant manager

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and eight (8)+ years of related HR experience
  • PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP certifications
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in dealing with confidential information
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Proven leader and results driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with hiring all new staff for a greenfield operation
  • Training or public speaking experience
